GOOD PRODUCT, JUST ONE PROBLEM.

Reviewer:  Joey Trask "Joey"  (Newport News, VA)  See all my reviews

This is an OK product in my opinion. I've tested it underwater (Use silicon grease before doing this) and it survived. The picture comes out great. When I upload videos to YouTube, I get to view them in HQ (high quality). The BIGGEST PROMBLEM IS THE AUDIO. Because the microphone is waterproof, the audio becomes muffled, and when you try to hold the camera with your hands, it creates large annoying "clicks". Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

There are a couple of minor problems, one problem is of course, no viewfinder. Which means the cameraman has to "point and shoot" at the subject he/she is trying to film. Another minor problem is trying to push the @#?! buttons! (The buttons are waterproof and require hard pressing, resulting in a very sore thumb!)

The advantages and disadvantages sort of break even with each other. I paid [..] when I bought this in December 2007, so this camera is definately a good value in today's market.
